父系社會,雄性處於宗族中主要角色,雌性則處於依附、附帶、另一面的位置,在家庭族譜中尢其明顯;大多數族譜只留下雄性的生存記號、事跡;反觀雌性如沒有出生一樣被時間抹去、遺忘。可是,生命的延續需要兩性的結合才能繁洐,當新一代的雄性誕生,名字被記錄在族譜的那一刻,母親(雌性)的存在已被確立。雌性雖不在族譜上卻在生命延續之時暗示其中,譜上的名字都在反證雌性的存在,在看不見的側面。
生物繁洐是自然界生存的最終意義,永不休止的循環;人類以記號保存家旅的生命歷桯,為瞬間留下註腳。在一脈相承的過程中,人與自然最直接最真實的聯繫莫過於生命的「開始」與「結束」。
In patrilineal society, males are in the middle role, while females are attached, incidental, and on the other side. This is especially obvious in family genealogy; most genealogies only leave the signs and deeds of males; in contrast, females are erased by time as if they were not born, Forgotten. However, the continuation of life requires the union of the two sexes to thrive. When a new generation of males are born and their names are recorded in the genealogy, the existence of the mother (female) has been established. Although females are not on the genealogy, they hint at them during the continuation of their lives. The names on the pedigree all prove the existence of females and are on an invisible side.
Biological reproduction is the ultimate meaning of survival in nature, a never-ending cycle; human beings preserve the life history of family and travel with signs, leaving a footnote for the moment. In the process of coming down in one continuous line, the most direct and true connection between man and nature is the "beginning" and "end" of life.
